About JEE Advanced 2024
JEE Advanced 2024 represents the second stage of the IIT JEE 2024. It is a national-level engineering entrance test specifically for those seeking admission to the IITs. The exam is computer-based and is typically administered by one of the seven IITs: IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIT Guwahati.
Exam Structure
JEE Advanced comprises two papers, both of which are conducted on the same day in two separate shifts. Candidates are required to appear for both papers to qualify based on merit.

JEE Advanced 2024 Paper 2 : Our Student’s Reaction
In JEE Advanced 2024 Paper 2, the overall difficulty level was higher compared to Paper 1. Each subject—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—had 17 questions, making a total of 51 questions. The total marks for Paper 2 were 180.
- Mathematics: The Mathematics section was notably tough, posing significant challenges to the students.
- Chemistry: The Chemistry section maintained a moderate level of difficulty.
- Physics: The Physics section ranged from moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty.
